Café Hamra opened its doors on October 2010. The designers wanted the restaurant to reflect the spirit of Hamra street: the walls and ceiling are covered with lively graffiti maps, posters, and photographs characteristic of the street. In addition to the regular section, The restaurant has a non smoking section and a backyard garden.
The menu offers a wide selection of International food in addition to a rich salad bar and a breakfast menu. We tasted the salad bar and it was very delicious.
I recommend café Hamra for its casual ambiance and modern Hamra reflection. Of course, it is not the same spirit of the traditional old “café-trottoir” of the street but it is still worth the visit.
