How many times have you crossed 100 Km to find yourself a peaceful restaurant in natural surroundings? Well, last week we discovered that there is no need to cross all this distance to enjoy a meal on a river side. Hidden in Antelias, Casino Fawwar is built upon a natural source surrounded by nature. The restaurant has a huge terrace on the river with ducks, bridges, trees and all what goes with. The interior however is a little old.
The restaurant serves a wide variety of Lebanese mezze and grills. We were satisfied with the freshness and the quality of the food. Prices of items in the menu are average. The service is too much Lebanese, pushing you to order more and being present all the time.
I definitely recommend Casino Fawwar Antelias for a quick Lebanese escape from the crowded city.
