Julia’s is a French restaurant with some Italian and fusion dishes. The restaurant has two branches: the main Monot branch and a second branch in Le Mall, Sin el Fil.

Julia’s Monot is located in the charming Abdel Wahab street near to Abdel Wahab restaurant. The restaurant is in an old stone house with a patio on the street. The owners preserved the authentic character of the house while adding an excessively huge bar in the interior. The unusual aspect of the inside atmosphere is the low lighting that relies to some extents on the tables’ candles. The soft music goes well with the peacefulness of the place.

The menu includes the musts of the French cuisine in addition to some pasta and fusion dishes. The place is very famous for its steaks and sauces. I tried their onion soup that was a little too strong for my taste (maybe due to some white wine within?!). I loved their tartare and their “pain perdu”. The menu also includes a wide range of Lebanese and French wines that are in the majority costly.

The service was very professional and caring. The bill was unsurprisingly high but stays reasonable compared to the quality and the positioning of the restaurant.

I tried last saturday the main branch of Julia's in Monot and I really liked the food (warm goat cheese salad, spaghetti peppe, linguini tartufo, pain perdu).
    I recommend it.

Julia’s was one of the first nice restaurants in town and I’m happy to say this little Italian bistro is surviving. [...]
