Review by Souad

Maillon Café opened its doors in Zalka on July 2011. It has the same spirit as the neighborhood restaurants: huge hall and terrace, International menu, Arguileh… However, what distinguishes Maillon Café is its classy touch whether through design, food or service.

The restaurant’s stone exterior mixed with baroque decoration catches the eye. The Maillon terrace is comfortably set with white and green furniture, while the inside is a mix between modern baroque and vivid colors. A wall with artistic portraits adds an original touch to the design.

The menu we ordered was very good. The service was professional and attentive.

I definitely recommend Maillon Café if you like this style of restaurants and of course if you don’t mind the crowds.

Menu

Appetizers with original fusion varieties, Lebanese menu, grills and main dishes menu going from Escalope to Taouk, Italian menu with pizza and pasta, burgers with traditional and original ones in addition to a light menu.

Suitable for vegetarians. Serves alcohol.

Good to know

Has a terrace. Recommended for large groups and friends.

That's strange! I can only see bad comments or dislikes on the good ones. Does it mean people who visited had very bad experience? And where can we see the menu Kindly share your feedbacks!

Not at all what it's hyped up to be. We got a live snail slithering in our salad, and the replacement salad contained a hair. What's most head-turning is that neither manager nor waiter approached to apologize, and we were charged for the dish, too!
Don't follow the crowd there unless you fancy a (literally) "garden-fresh" salad, or a new pet.

So much classier than its neighbors! I hope they will honor the name they have and keep a high range clientele.

Amazing restaurant!!! value to price was terrific, great staff and service and the taste was incredible, the only complaint is that they served the appetizers right with the main dish and the salad came afterward :/ but overall fantastic restaurant :)

Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. But I go marching on maillon Cafe
