Maillon Café opened its doors in Zalka on July 2011. It has the same spirit as the neighborhood restaurants: huge hall and terrace, International menu, Arguileh… However, what distinguishes Maillon Café is its classy touch whether through design, food or service.

The restaurant’s stone exterior mixed with baroque decoration catches the eye. The Maillon terrace is comfortably set with white and green furniture, while the inside is a mix between modern baroque and vivid colors. A wall with artistic portraits adds an original touch to the design.

The menu we ordered was very good. The service was professional and attentive.

I definitely recommend Maillon Café if you like this style of restaurants and of course if you don’t mind the crowds.

We used to go there often for the good food and good prices. Then the food became bad.

I had a HORRIBLE experience at Le Maillon Cafe! We ordered sushi (at 12:08am)... At 12:30 we asked them where the sushi was... the waitress seemed surprised and went inside! After 5 minutes she came with another waitress and they both said, with laughter and giggles, that the sushi kitchen closes at 12:00 but they didn't pay attention to the time!
We ordered an avocado cocktail instead!
    1) they charged the cocktail in full
    2) NO ONE from the 3 managers came to our table
    3) no complimentary drinks or dessert were served!
WORSE YET... I talked to one of the managers as I was leaving and he said he didn't understand why I was upset and that these things happen once a year, and that he yelled at the girl who was serving us! When I told him that it would've been nice of him to come to my table and at least clarify things out, he insisted that I was making a big deal out of nothing, that I had nothing to be upset about, and that they had nothing to apologize about!

So much classier than its neighbors! I hope they will honor the name they have and keep a high range clientele.

Amazing restaurant!!! value to price was terrific, great staff and service and the taste was incredible, the only complaint is that they served the appetizers right with the main dish and the salad came afterward :/ but overall fantastic restaurant :)

That's strange! I can only see bad comments or dislikes on the good ones. Does it mean people who visited had very bad experience? And where can we see the menu Kindly share your feedbacks!

Everything I eat has been proved by some doctor or other to be a deadly poison, and everything I don't eat has been proved to be indispensable for life. But I go marching on maillon Cafe

Not at all what it's hyped up to be. We got a live snail slithering in our salad, and the replacement salad contained a hair. What's most head-turning is that neither manager nor waiter approached to apologize, and we were charged for the dish, too!
Don't follow the crowd there unless you fancy a (literally) "garden-fresh" salad, or a new pet.
