Everyone in town looks at you with eyes wide open and says: “You haven’t been to Mounir?”. So last week, we’ve been to Mounir! When entering, we were impressed by the flower garden. The restaurant has a huge terrace for sunny days and an internal lobby for cold times. The terrace has an exceptional view, but to enjoy it, you must reserve in advance to get one of the relatively few tables overlooking the sea. If you find yourself on the internal tables, you may feel that you are in a huge canteen.
We went to Mounir for an iftar, the waiters were unable to handle the rush. Everyone was running in all directions, the soup arrived half an hour after the start of the meal.
The food was OK and very varied.
As all my compatriots, I recommend going to Mounir to discover the place, the food and the atmosphere, but personally I don’t think it’s the best place in town.
