Review by Souad

Punto Alto is an Italian restaurant on a cliff overlooking the sea. The view is really exceptional, but you should make a reservation in advance to be on one of the few lucky tables overlooking the sea.

This restaurant attracts a lot of Tripolitans, especially through its chicken platters: chicken mushroom, chicken with cheese, chicken mango… Their platters are huge and really yummy. However, the service is lousy, we have waited half an hour to get our order taken and another half an hour to get the food on the table. Another weird problem: flies! I’ve been there more than once and every time there are flies all over the place.

I always hesitate before going to Punto Alto, but from time to time, I miss its chicken mushroom and great view…

Menu

Appetizers, salads, pizza, pasta, risotto, chicken and veal platters, steak, seafood

Suitable for vegetarians. Serves alcohol.

Good to know

Has an exceptional view.

    The food is good!
    BUT...
There is a lot of flies! Our last 2 visits prove that!
The service was too slow, too.
