Yasmina – Ashrafieh

Yasmina welcomes its guests in the ground floor of an old authentic building in Ashrafieh. The restaurant has a wonderful setting: a large terrace with a charming fountain and colorful curtains. The interior is also nice but more reserved. The music, the accessories, every detail reflects the Indian spirit.

The restaurant serves a fusion Indian cuisine, so don’t expect the whole set of Indian dishes neither the same original taste. This doesn’t mean that Yasmina’s food isn’t good, we actually enjoyed our meal with chicken biryani and samossas. However, I would’ve preferred a Lassi made with Indian yogurt not Lebanese one. The chef pampers the dishes with nuts while the portions are small especially appetizers. The service was professional and friendly.

Yasmina is definitely too expensive with an average bill of 60$ per person. However, if you’re looking for an original dining experience in a lovely setting, book in advance and visit Yasmina.
