Zess – Dbayeh
Lebanese restaurant on the seaside road

Review by Souad
If you passed by the maritime road you have probably noticed a huge impressive restaurant near the army’s checkpoint, this restaurant is Zess. The restaurant has a good location giving to the sea with a nice terrace open during summer. The interior is huge with high ceiling and a dominance of black and silver.
The restaurant has a Lebanese traditional menu. During our visit, we took the 30$ per person full mezze and grills menu, including drinks. Some mezze were delicious like hendbeh, tabbouleh and kebbeh nayyeh while others were less good like batata Provençal and mou3ajanet. Desserts were average.
The service was experienced, we didn’t have any problems. Zess’ prices are within average for this kind of restaurants. If you feel like a restaurant giving to the sea especially during summer, Zess might be what you’re looking for.
