Babel is a high-standing place that is becoming more and more famous for its unique ambiance and its refined Lebanese cuisine.
You will be very impressed when you enter this huge Babylonian style temple. From outside to inside, the design is stunning: huge walls covered with raw stone, decorative items in copper. In addition, plenty of details create an enjoyable environment: flower arrangements, tables dressing, non intrusive ambiance music (live piano)…
The menu is very rich with unusual delicious mezze like the famous maajouaa. Main dishes and grills are also excellent. Don’t forget to keep a place in your stomach for their exquisite ashta ice cream, an experience that you must live if you are an ice cream lover.
As all the other components, the service in Babel is very good: friendly, efficient and polite.
If you can afford the high bill of Babel, I absolutely recommend you the restaurant for a romantic date as well as a family and friends dinner.
